Meet our 2016 Flock

Oh yes it's me again!

We've got our final herd number for 2016! Crazy to think last year we started with only three sheep (2 ewes, 1 ram lamb) and this year we are starting with SEVEN! (3 ewes, 4 ram lambs)

Last butchering and lambing season 2015/2016:
2 ewes bred
1 butchered ram
3 lambs born
2 lambs survived (1 ewe that we're breeding this year, and 1 ram we're butchering)

This coming butchering and lambing season 2016/2017:
3 ewes bred
4 butchered rams (3 castrated, 1 sire)
3-7 lambs expected in Spring

Alright time to meet our dumb, fluffy, and cute flock. Ladies first:

Big Momma, leader of the flock: 5 years old, lambed twins this year, likes to beat up the new kids.

Little Momma (Big Momma's Daughter): 1 year old, first time lambing this spring, likes coffee and reading the word.

Ginger (Big Momma's daughter): Only 5 months old, going to be bred this fall, likes playing Pokemon Go with her half brother Yosemite.

...AND NOW THE BOYS

Mike decided to call all the lambs we butcher, "Bing Bong" (his favorite word EVER at the moment. Yes, it's an Inside Out reference) So all rams, except Yosemite who was named before the Bing Bong rule was established, are called Bing Bongs. So starting off we have...

Bing Bong #1: The sire ram lamb of the flock (which means he still has balls and will breed all the ewes), the ugliest of the flock, always has a smile on his face, and will let you scratch his chin for hours.

Bing Bong #2: ram lamb, likes to sun bathe and make kombucha with his brother Bing Bong #3

Bing Bong #3: ram lamb, cassette tapes are his musical format of choice.

Yosemite (Little Momma's son): Our favorite ram lamb, gets away with anything, always trying to mate his half sister, but doesn't have enough balls to do it. Like seriously, he has no balls. Just stating facts here.

AND OF COURSE WE CAN'T FORGET... OUR 8th HONORARY MENTION GOES TO:

Angel... Still looking ridiculous with that haircut.

Fun to hangout with you guys.
Talk later gatorz.
